Do razer mice still have the scroll wheel break?

Hey guys,

I personally have not been a fan of razer due to their poor quality control in the past and their keyboard's using some weird switch as opposed to cherry switches. I know that the older deathadder had issues with the scroll wheel breaking after 3-6 months of use. It seems that people ask about Razer mice alot and im wondering if they are still plagued with the scroll wheel issue and (supposedly) bad tracking with acceleration. I have also heard something about mouse click delay. (I can't remember where I heard that and can't verify it). Is the tracking on them fixed now? Or it still a better idea to get a logitech g502 or zowie mouse?

Just to be clear i'm not asking for myself, i'm just wondering if my information about it is correct.
Thanks.

my deathadder's scroll wheel works fine, had it for 3 years now. only it squeaks a little, but i usually fix it with a little wd-40. but it's been great otherwise

ALTHOUGH i would recommend buying a zowie mouse instead of razer just to be safe.

Yes the scroll wheel thing does still happen.

My DA13 wheel broke a few months ago. Dunno about mouse accel or delay, in fact I find those perfectly fine on the DA.

I would recommend Zowie and a few of the Logitech mice though.

I've had three Razers (sucker for punishment), both have had the same problem with the wheel, either it doesn't register or registers multiple times, i.e. when browsing it will open two tabs or none.

razer still uses the same cheap (TTC mechanical) scroll wheels, so yes.
the Chroma tracks fine, albeit with higher delay than logitech their mice (especially on higher cpi).
zowie their mice are nothing special, but they have nice shapes. but also have higher delay than logitech their stuff.

G502 is nice if you value low latency and good tracking. the scroll wheel got plenty of complaints, though. (due to its design, it's loose/wobbly.) unfortunately the g502 is quite heavy and it has 99 buttons.

if you want that ultimately low delay, you'll want to make it yourself.
the guy made a wireless mouse that has even lower latency than logitech their wired mice. both click delay and tracking delay are lower. hilarious.

I've had my deathadder for around 2 years and my only problems right now is that it's more sensitive to double clicking (as in, one click somehow registers as two) unless I use the outer side edges of the mouse and mouse3 doesn't register sometimes.
