So Discord and Mumble are basically equivalent with Mumble possibly having a slight edge. That's pretty cool that a team doesn't really have to pay for a Mumble to get good latency on their comms.

I've always noticed lag in discord. When I play games with my brother in the next room and use discord, there's a definite extra delay when compared with mumble. It might just be something to do with sydney discord servers though.

There're free Mumble servers in existence.

These numbers are still suspiciously high, for everything. How's he measuring base network latency?

Well I honestly had no issues with them.

Forgot about those, sorry. Just use Mumble for VOIP then.

Would have liked to have seen battle.net's voice chat in there if they're going to include Steam voice chat

none of the free mumble servers i've used have been good

all of the free discord servers ive used have been good

i dont know why hooky is getting -fragged for appreciating the fact that you can get VOIP servers with reliably good latency for free

Nice to see I guess but did we really need a test for this? I thought that it was common knowledge for the past like 5 years that mumble has the best codec...
