ChampGG sponsored 8K. NameLess got dropped by nerdrage.tf2. EVL Gaming sponsored a team. What do the sponsors actually do?
For NA the extent of most sponsorship is paying fees. I believe ronin is either helping or fully paying to send their team to i58. Not sure what EU sponsors do.
Sponsors can do various things, they can provide voice communication servers, accommodation for lans, money for travel etc.
It can be noted that obviously every sponsor provides different perks to their teams.

Ronin's great as a sponsor because they can afford to buy tickets to i58 because of their CS team
Fees, Stream overlays, Twitter headers, Profile pictures, etc. =)

I dont really know about that... their CS team has gone less than .500 in the last two seasons of premier with very poor lineups, unless I'm missing something, the CS team does not make this happen for them

There's still a decent amount of money in ronin, I would imagine. Any premier team makes something

any publicity is good publicity if your goal is brand recognition. I have no idea how esports sponsors make money since they don't really sell anything; but if the #1 deciding factor in your income is being known, then being known as the worst team in CS is still doing something

There's weapon stickers? Surely ronin must sell shirts too, their logo is definitely one of the better looking ones out there.

yeah man idk if you understand what being in Premier means. EchoFox makes money, TS made money, and that's about it. there are very few cases where players and orgs make money playing Premier.

ronin have their own sponsors who advertise through that org, that's how orgs make money
you should clearly separate in your mind sponsors and orgs, they are (mostly) not one and the same, and the cash flow is very different
