esea has a better cheater problem but theres still def cheaters on client, it's not regular players that buy cheats to get better, it's closeters that've always been cheating and use privates that their friends make for them / make themselves which is infinitely gayer because they don't get banned

Alongside with typical "I like trolling, and I want attention with being stupid" reason, when I've asked few cheaters, they either answered "TF2 is dead, no point playing normally" or as "protest" against Valve's recent updates and changes.
So yeah, no good reasons, really
the vac in tf2 is painfully shit and its easy to hide cheats competitively
vs in csgo where it costs money to cheat, money to get new accounts, time to re-rank your accounts, needing to re-prime, overwatch is annoying bc shitty cheaters make reportbots bc theyre mad they suck with cheats, and cheating competitively costs a fuckton unless you have coder friends
o ya dont forget that if you cheat in cs mm no one gets mad and they just inject their own cheats, literally everyone i know that plays cs cheats, in tf2 if you play a tiny bit sus some retarded 12 year old starts crying (see op)
edit: i think most of the people in ugc who had a real cheat quit so ugc is actually pretty cheater-free for once
