I decided to open a tf2 server
Features of the server
No random Crits
No damage spread
No weapon spread
No ads/ other bs
Added class restrictions as follows
Scouts 3
Soldiers 3
Pyros -1 because people bitched about it on Reddit and called me a butthurt solly main ;(
Demomen 3
Engineers 2
Heavies 2
Medics 3
Snipers 2
Spies 2
Map cycle is mostly stock with some maps that are from competitive. (Will be adding some hl variants soon)

1) Should I enforce a weapon white list?
Good luck, I've done this and 2 others I knew and they all died in 2 weeks and that was before the valve server update. Hope this one survives. I'd consider adding a mix of good official and custom pub maps too though. Maps like foundry actually work in pubs so why restrict to the maps that every comp player who joins this has coming out their ears anyway

I get that people don't like Pyros, but why ban Pyros and not ban engineers as well? Like sure airblast might not be fun but it's a pub where shit like mini sentries and the atomizer exist

Banning pyro's was a bad idea since it's a part of the game, I would've put the restriction on 1 or something. Not just outright ban what some random players don't like.
Might as well ban spy as well if you're gonna ban pyro. And engineer and heavy. And maybe sniper if you wanna go that far.
