When I launch tf2, everything is normal while its loading, but as soon it goes to the main menu, my screen goes black, I cant alt tab or anything, my computer locks up. I have to just press control-alt-delete and then escape and the screen goes back to the main menu. Anyone know what the problem is? (I dont think its HUD related because its happened on multiple huds)

bearodactyldo you have -dxlevel in your launch options?
That made me check my launch options, and i had my game in window mode at a smaller res,but my game always launches at native and in full. I removed that seemed to fix it, thanks.

Do you happen to have "mat_antialias 0" in your config? If so remove that, and add "mat_antialias 1" to your config. Also try running with "-default" as launch option.
