Post any feedback regarding Dreamhack Summer Lan event. Casters, production, rulesets, maps, extra content and whatever you can think of, we want to hear it. The more constructive, the better!
Bo4 grand finals was a bit weird but other than that no complaints
Loved the camera on the players that captures their reaction after winning/losing a round, way better that that 'humiliation' shit that tf2 has after rounds
one thing i noticed was the fact that as soon as a round was capped it was swapped to player cams straight away with no noise, it felt really weird. I don't know if having the tf2 sound in the background would sound weirder though but the silence was definitely underwhelming.

Maybe there should be a 1v1 setup somewhere close so people can train MGE/DM + let random spectators duel the pros.
Instead of waiting 30 mins between matches, you should've had an interview with team leaders about the match that they have played.
I wish these prolonged breaks would stop in the future. If the break during the coaching issue wouldn't have been so damn long, the grand finals might have had a conclusion. Some other breaks were extended for unknown reasons also. This all adds up.
Still a great LAN tho, props to the casters and players and especially the production team, you really have outdone yourselves.
Also can dashner upload the bumper? Would be neat.

We'd have liked to do interviews but it wasn't something we could easily set up this time.

That break was about as short as we could make it, it did genuinely take that long to reach a decision on the coaching. Other breaks were due to players needing quick breaks between maps. Breaks are inevitable at LAN, we can only try to minimise them.

I'm talking about the breaks between games, where 30 minute breaks turned into 45 minute breaks (sometimes even longer)
Now nobody could know that there would be so many golden caps, but you shouldn't take close to a hour to set- and warm up as a player.
The coaching issue should've been resolved really quickly. There should have been no discussion about it. If crowns doesn't want kaidus to coach nL for reasons, you don't allow kaidus to coach.
I know this is somewhat the players' fault, but you should try to enforce some rules on that matter so it doesn't happen again.
And thanks for linking the bumper david

I guess this is partly the fault of having no cheat feed, as you cannot see when the sniper hits big shots, so you need to watch him as long as possible to not miss, when he finally hits those crazy shots.
I still think DavidTheWin did an incredible job without having a cheat feed, so many big airshots were caught on camera, so many big plays, well done!

That's just down to top teams lack of creativity, can't fault production on that.
