Sup guys! I had too many clip on mics like zalman and other mics that my dog would just ruin. Since most of those mics on the top looks like a furball my dog would chew it up. Looking for a desktop mic that can pick up sound from about 2 feet away because I sit like b4nny and I don't like the mic to be all up on my face. I was maybe thinking about a modmic but was thinking how am I gonna clip that on my shirt. So most important thing is picking up my voice from about 2 feet away. Oh btw, I hate headsets and those are out of the question. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you can find the blue snowball for under 50 bucks I'd get it. It's what I use, but it's definitely not worth anything more than 50 dollars.

Not any mic. Most clip on mics have those fur thingy covering the actual mic so and dogs like furry things so they will play with it or chew it up.

I have had my snowball mic for about 3 years, and I've... accidentally knocked it over more than I'd like to recount -ahem- and it has stood up pretty well.

I think Logitech discontinued that microphone, it's listed as discontinued/out of stock at most online retailers. If you can find one then it's pretty solid, sound quality isn't the best but it does the job.

i recently bought an AT2020 usb mic and everyone says i sound crystal clear now
it was kind of pricey though i can't see myself going back to the shitty broken phone headset microphone i was using previously
