i understand wanting to leave OKC - they have consistently fallen short. i'd have more respect for the move if maybe he went to a team like boston or wherever else. but joining the team you were up 3-1 against in the playoffs, that is already historically great, is a really soft move. any championships he wins will be tarnished in my eyes.

guys, athletes wouldn't feel pressured to make crazy moves like this if they weren't constantly told that you can't be an all-time great without a ring, and that the dude with 3 rings is automatically better than the dude with 2, etc.
