Would r_drawtracers_firstperson 0 not work fine?
Hey, when i hide the amby there's this weird thing in my invisible arm.
I'm using viewmodel_fov 115.

not sure what's causing this but occasionally the models aren't loading, restarting a few times fixes it: getting loads of errors in my console along the lines of:
Error: Material "models/weapons/c_items/c_tomislav" : proxy "AnimatedWeaponSheen" unable to initialize!
Error: Material "models/weapons/c_items/c_tomislav_gold" : proxy "AnimatedWeaponSheen" unable to initialize!

Any graphics CFG? That stuff doesn't look like it should be caused by my mod.
might be something interfering, not quite sure. i've got comanglias graphics config
Does it happen if you remove the graphics config (and run autoconfig)?

Not really. It's just way too complicated to automate. Now, the mod files generated by the installer can be used on any platform, not just Windows, so if that's the problem I could easily come up with a mod package for you. Just tell me what you want hidden.

Ok apparently my game had set the r_drawviewmodel value to 0 for some reason and then it did not work, havent tried a comp server yet but hopefully it works!
So I feel like I'm dumb but I did try this out just to see how it looks (esp on Spy) and I set it to hide Scout primary viewmodels and Spy primary and installed it and I still see my viewmodel in loobbies.
Does this only work in matchmaking?
e: Oh I don't think lobbies sv_pure 2 allows this, so I'll just have to config those I guess. I mostly just like this because you can hide revolver but keep watch which should have been an option a billion years ago.

put that in your custom folder. only hides the soldier's rocket launchers (not inspect anims) and medic's mediguns (not inspect anims).

it was supposed to have been removed but it's still there in the source-themed Options > Multiplayer > Advanced menu. it's not there in the regular Advanced Options menu, which uses a TF2 theme. either way they don't work in competitive matchmaking, but they work (just like the cvars work) in everything else.

Does this work on mac btw? when i open the .exe file it turns into a zip file and when i unzip it it turns back to .exe

.exe files will never work in OSX, you'd have to get something like bootcamp or WINE to run it

Moved buttons to a lower panel for better consistency.
Mod now fully installs even if nothing is checked.
Mod now installs as a single VPK archive rather than a set of loose folders and files.The installer now saves your TF2 directory to the registry, and attempts to recall it upon future loads.
