I know that generally speaking if you want the best audio you need a sound card, and its better off getting a separate headphone pair and microphone, but A.) I don't have a sound card, and B.) I've haven't really found a good set of headphones where buying a mod mike with them is not above 100 USD.
Making this thread to get a idea of whether or not this is a good headset, just for information sake, I'm not much into music and sound quality, I generally don't have a good idea of most audio tech and what to look for

108$ together
Cloud 2's are just rebrands of the Takstar Pro 80 line, except with a removable microphone. It's probably the best headset on a budget there is, including the pretty good Kingston Warranty. It comes with its own USB soundcard which removes the possibility of EMI static from your motherboard or front ports. It also comes with extra velour pads, if leather isn't your preference.
It's literally a steal if you happen to grab one during a sale.

I own a pair of HyperX Clouds (first series) and it's probably the best headset you could buy without just getting a pair of headphones + a microphone.
It also ships with replacement earpads.

i was considering taking the ad500x instead of the hd558 with this mic
Ideally, you wanna buy a modmic later when you have more 40$.
It will just be an upgrade from the Zalmann which cost 5$.
It also clips on your headphone which is convenient.
