Recently been getting weird ping spikes to 500+ and never happened ever before until couple weeks ago. I upgraded my router before it happened but still get them just not as often. I use the default chris good connection. I also noticed that if (I think the download rate) increases to about 40 kbs or higher my ping goes up. My update/cmd rates stay about 66 in my netgraph.

try lowering your cmd/update rates to 40 and use cl_interp 0.025 and 0.05 in place of the 0.0152 and 0.033 ones, also lower whatever the bandwidth setting is
if that doesn't help, look into improving your internet connection in general, whether it means getting your ISP to stop being gay or paying for a higher tier

My rate is set at 60000 right now. I have about a 30MB download right now from speedtest.

your net's getting aggressively throttled then, talk to your isp about it

I disabled network throttling in my registry a while back. Unless that's a different thing

it's a different thing on the ISP's end where they handle your connection

So i'm guessing, I can't do anythin about that. I got Road Runner as my ISP.
