I just found out that you can make your tf2 look even worse by tampering with your nvidia settings. I have downloaded Nvidiainspector and did everything right according to the manual. In theory if I set the LOD bias to 15.000 and apply the settings it works, but it has no visible effects ingame. Any suggestions? I am using Chris' maxfps config. This is my profile:

I tried doing that, for some reason, when I apply changes, it won't allow me to set it to 15.000 and it keeps reverting it back to 0.000 / automatic.

Newest version of Nvidia Inspector did that to me too, i had to download an older one for it to work. I uploaded it here: https://dl.dropbox.com/u/8776548/NvidiaInspector.rar

You autoexec might have a conflicting command concerning LOD bias. You can set Nvidia Inspector to whatever LOD you want, but if your autoexec changes it as soon as you launch the game, then it's useless.
Also, be aware that using any program to change the LOD bias will get you banned in ESEA.
