The original Full Tilt roster featured astt, Thalash, Silentes, Sideshow, Alle, and kos, nearly identical to the final lineup. The squad made their debut as a team in the Gimmicks, Guts & Glory tournament, where a breakout performance rewarded them with an upset win over nerdRage and a second-place finish behind Reason Gaming.
The team's potential was unwavering, netting them consistently high results and a sponsorship with Perilous Gaming. Some of the team's notable wins include a second-place finish in ETF2L Season 23, a third-place finish in ETF2L Season 24, and a tie for first place at the DreamHack Summer 2016 Invitational.
Ultimately, the team's most impressive result was their second-place finish at Insomnia58. During their run at Insomnia58, they knocked out froyotech and found themselves in the first all-European grand final since Insomnia49. The grand final against Crowns Esports was excitingly close as Full Tilt saw a 2-0 lead in the best-of-5 series, but ended 2-3 in Crowns' favor.
Full Tilt's medic kos shed some light on the team's fate and his teammates' plans:
The team as a whole decided we had a good run but it isn't worth sticking around to play ETF2L. If there were more tournaments and lans etc. then yeah sure we might reform. Me and Mike are focusing on uni. Alle and Thalash are still playing. I don't know about astt, maybe overwatch. Sil is still gonna play tf2 casually I think. Don't think he's looking for a team though.
