Upgrade as in upgrading the partlist right from the start.
That 380 needs an 8 pin and a 6 pin or two 6 pins. PSUs usually have so called 6+2 pin connectors, meaning you can use them either as 6 or 8 pin. Either way a PSU with only one 6/8 pin won't work.
The build should draw ~350W.
The GPU should be 160$ after rebates. I'd use that if I were you.
Did you check if the 30$ bundle discount applies to that CPU + mobo?
That SSD is much slower.

At 160$ it makes sense. At 180$ the monitor wouldn't be within budget anymore, if I haven't miscalculated. At 200$ it's definitely not possible anymore.
