Finding a team in CSGO

Has anyone ever been on a CS team from here? I was trying to find a team last year and I had no luck. I used all the forums I could and no one would still pick me up. Its probably because of lack of experience, but I set the bar to low open in my lft thread.

Does anyone have advice for finding a CS team or is it just that you have to get a high pug rank and meet players you like on esea client then queue up together and eventually form a team?

it's definitely a different sort of community from TF2. it's larger, therefore harder to get "into".

my first time playing on a CS team was actually in season 14 with a bunch of other TF2 players. it was super chill.

later when I actually got into competitive CS, I played in CEVO. at the time it was basically CS's equivalent to UGC skill-wise. i dunno if it still has that same vibe, but i'd check out the CEVO forums and see if you can find a team there

cage-play esea pugs and add people who are in open and ask them to put you on their team or make a team with them

this is really the best way to go about getting a team in CS
id even argue its a good way to get a TF2 team, except not ESEA pugs obviously xd

don't even bother, you will never be able to withstand the might of the Esports Gaming Gamers (also known as Team EGG)
