someone said the words "team fortress" on television, i'm happy :D
People need to keep quiet sometimes and just listen and learn. Don't fear new things. The problem is some older adults think they know better which is sad.

Video games have been around since the 80s
We're in 2016 now
After 40 years people still treat gamers like empty minded childish retards
I want the internet to know that this honestly triggers me
Edit
Those extine shoes... daaamn

the only way to divert those presenters off "video game basement nerds hurrhurr" would be to slow it down and try to take control and fully explain what "esports" means and talk about the biggest ones like cs and dota. i dont feel any of them learnt much about it except that people actually compete for prize pools in them but may have gotten the wrong end of the stick thinking that one of the biggest events is a relatively small tourney in england that's community organised
i mean they were the ones who wanted to know how extine made a living off it

Somewhat unrelated but on this topic this video springs to mind, it covers the ignorance of news companies, although it ignores some psychological concepts I really love this

this bitch acting like its adorable to see a grown ass man in a suit
emkayCool to show DHS and i58 pictures in there...sad to see there was no credit given to tagg/uberchain/the others who shot the photos.
Great stuff either way, eXtine!
Thanks! I asked Uberchain for permission at their request, then passed her info along and asked for her to be credited. This was one of those shows where everything has to get put together quickly so there is daily content for people to watch, but I guess they didn't spend the time to properly credit Uberchain because they figured no one was gonna watch the show? They don't really preserve it online and that's why I am eXtremely grateful to the people that recorded it for me. A lot of my friends/family and all y'all wouldn't have seen it otherwise.
Thanks for the support everyone. Keep playin players.

I have never understood why people have their kids play baseball, football, etc. for many hours a day, traveling across the country, spending hundreds-thousands of dollars just for fun, but playing video games for the same amount of time for much less money is this terrible thing. The guy in the segment tell his son "these games will get you nowhere," but for 99.9% of kids, neither will physical sports. Just let the kids do what they want to do to have fun while ensuring their life is balanced.
u can put sports on your application for college and shit but probably not videogames
You can if you apply to UC Irvine I bet.
Times will change. It always feels like it takes too long for the ones who get there first.

It was a little condescending, but to be fair Extine doesn't really give off that 'I wear suits all the time' vibe.
Jeff, it's time to go visit a tailor, buddy

Good job in the interview eXtine. Very professional! Wish we would have heard a YYAAAOOOO though, but I suppose that would have gotten some strange looks from the rest of the people on the program lol.

maelstromexcept that real sports (especially team sports) have much more benefits over video games and if u cant see that, ur pretty fucking delusional. you dont have to be professional to learn/gain a thing or two from ur experiences in playing a sport ya know
Obviously playing single player games without leaving your house doesn't really have benefit. I'm not equating sitting in your basement playing skyrim for 12 hours to playing a physical sport, but if someone is on a CS team or something I don't think they deserve to be treated that much differently from someone who plays baseball. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge sports fan and played a lot as a kid, I just wish the stigma were removed from people who game competitively.

in the sense that sitting on your ass watching CS teams play and sitting on your ass and watching baseball are similar, I guess they're not that different. otherwise I don't see much similarity between them.
