It seems that SFM doesn't want to load the one specific map of koth_product. All the other maps work fine but this is the only map with this issue. Whenever I try to load the map, SFM closes itself. Anyone have a fix?

It seems that SFM doesn't want to load the one specific map of koth_product. All the other maps work fine but this is the only map with this issue. Whenever I try to load the map, SFM closes itself. Anyone have a fix?
Where did you download the map? If you downloaded it from the workshop, you're going to have to unpack it in a specific way that I'm looking for to link up, otherwise if it's from anywhere else e.g. TF2Maps what might be going on is there's some entity that SFM doesn't recognize and thus crashes due to that.

koth_product doesn't seem to work because it doesn't embed assets in the way that sfm expects
use koth_pro_viaduct_rc4 instead. any difference between that and koth_product_rc8 shouldn't even be noticeable in SFM.
also cubemaps will be a little wonky when you first load koth_pro_viaduct_rc4. be sure to use the following commands in console, and then save and restart SFM:
mat_specular 0
buildcubemaps
