cp_snakewater tries to trigger epilepsy

whenever i join a snakewater server (pub and faceit) for the first time the screen violently flashes with green, black, etc. colors. in the case of faceit servers, after i quit and rejoin the flashing stops. i've uninstalled/reinstalled tf2, uninstalled/reinstalled cfg, verified game cache, etc. anyone know a solution? thanks

does this happen on any other maps? Also you stated pub and faceit so I assume other servers with snakewater running works fine?
