Should I get the DM1 pro s since it seems like it's almost like a zowie except with a better sensor? What are your guy's thoughts on the DM1 pro s. I already have a Zowie EC1-A and I feel like I could up my game if the DM1 pro s is superior.

dm1 pro s is similar to the SS sensie, it's a good mouse but the build quality won't be any near as good as a Zowie mouse.

The dm1 pro S is definitely better but their is a chance you might get a faulty model. But you really aren't going to be seeing a change in your gameplay by upgrading

There's really not enough of a difference between the 3360 and the 3310 to warrant buying a new mouse if the old one still works for you and you like the shape.
If you really want a 3360 mouse tho, I definitely recommend the Logitech G Pro.

G pro has a worse shape than the g403 and the g403 wireless is even better. The 3360 spins out way less but spinning out the 3310 is incredibly hard, so yes you don't need to upgrade just for the sensor

Gpro having a worse shape than the g403 is subjective. I much prefer my gpro over my 403 because of the size and shape. If only they made a wireless gpro.

Some people also have an issue with their technique of flicking the mouse, starting at an angle and then going flat on a pad. That could be a reason why he would want the 3360. Unlikely, but possible.

Also the shape of the g pro is really dependent on your hand size and preference of mouse shape. The g403 is much more ergonomic than the g pro so if that's what you prefer then by all means go for it.

when considering all the top mice, one isn't objectively better than another.
shape > misc (mostly just build quality) > texture > sensor

almost all of the top mice have either a 3360 or 3310 (or some similar variant), and the difference between the two is so minuscule in comparison to how much you actually like the feel of the mouse when using it.

as far as a comparison, I much prefer the dm1 pro s over an ec2a, for example, simply because of the texture. I also like the shape a bit more though. As another example, I like it more than the za12 because of the first reason being the shape and second reason being the texture. as you can see by reading other people's opinions, however, some people much prefer the shape and/or texture of either of those zowie mice than the dm1. also keep in mind, unfortunately, that half of the dm1's have shitty clicks.

The g403 is in general a far safer shape to go with than the g pro, and I would imagine that if he had a problem with it spinning out he would mention it

Shape is purely subjective. Honestly, it's pretty ignorant to flat out say one shape is better than the other.
I personally prefer the G Pro, because I like ambidextrous mice and because it's smaller.
It's also lighter, which is a pretty big deal to me.
So I personally prefer the G Pro in every way.

Obviously he might have different preferences, but since he's asking about the DM1 Pro, which is also a ambidextrous and relatively light and small mouse (like the G Pro) and is looking to get away from his EC1-A (ergonomic shape, bigger and heavier, like the G403), it made sense to recommend the G Pro and not the G403.

The dm1 pro s has shitty quality control. I liked mine but the left click was waaay too stiff. I'm back to my fk1+ now, prefer the shape and the quality. Also, I actually find myself preferring the 3310 over the 3360 for some reason in-game. (more smoothing?)

id also recommend what kind of aim u want, I had a rival and I loved how heavy it was bc it allowed me to track really well.
comparatively i can flick more with my g400s, so u wanna just find what kind of aim style u want and what mouse you think is most comfy for that.

Alright so that's a pretty stupid example. If you're saying "saver shape" than ambidextrous is definitely "saver". And so is a smaller and lighter mouse.
Maybe you could say "better" or "saver" if you compare a shape that is completely out there and super far away from the norm with a really generic shape. But that's definitely not the case with the G Pro and G403. They both have pretty standard shapes.

Also, he didn't exactly say he want's a mouse similar to the EC, he said the DM1 Pro is similar to the EC, which I'm not really sure what he's talking about there. But since I'm pretty sure he realizes that they are not very similar in shape, I just assumed he meant, build quality, no gimmicks, just the essentials etc.

And he specifically said if he should get the dm1 pro S BECAUSE the shape is similar to the EC.

I never said ambi is better, just that I prefer it and, to use your argument, "saver" as in more people will like it, since it can be used by lefties aswell and there's more different ways to grip it so it doesn't have to match your hand as much to feel comfortable.

It's not ignorant to say one mouse has in GENERAL a safer shape than something else
And he said he wants a new mouse because he wants to up his game and he wants a mouse similar to the EC but with the 3360. And the g403 is more popular among EC users than the g pro

The point of the example is that there are exceptions to everything, and there is bound to be at least one person who finds the first shape more comfortable, but in general most people will like the latter. I have no idea where you got the idea that ambidextrous mice are generally better than others, but I can tell you that it's simply not true.

And he specifically said if he should get the dm1 pro S BECAUSE the shape is similar to the EC.
He's right handed, and he's used to the EC. And the dm 1 pro S is closer to the EC than the g pro is.
