is there a difference between 800 dpi 2 sense and 1600 dpi 1 sense???
no I was just wondering if there was other things at play like jitter or something
on 1080p there is a very tiny difference but really it wont make a difference in normal play. use what is comfortable
does tf2 do weird things if you use a high ingame sens so would something like 800 dpi on 10 ingame be the same as 400 on 20 or 1600 on 5?
it differs in way it reads mouse pad so it might feel different even if it's mathematically the same
Having a higher DPI allows you to make smaller and more precise movements so technically 1600DPI 1 sens is better but going from 800DPI to 1600DPI isn't going to make a difference. This only really matters if you're going from like 100 to 200 or 200 to 400 for example, and that would be for a game like CS:GO where you're going for headshots at really long ranges with guns without scopes and shit and will probably make no practical difference in TF2 where you're aiming projectiles and shotgun style hitscan weapons. This video shows what I'm talking about and requires zooming in to even tell the difference.
ie: use whatever DPI gives you your preferred sensitivity in the desktop I guess.

All these people didn't read you're OP, no changing your dpi will not increasing jittering, unless you have a bad sensor.
Yeah there is a difference, but a small one.
Mouse movement just has a slightly different feel to it.
A lot of CSGO pros prefer 400 DPI over 800 or whatever.
The theory is that with 400 DPI the mouse isn't quite as accurate, which can be a good thing since it means is won't record very small unintentional movements of your hand.

That theory has been debunked long ago
