Extremely annoying issue with Alt key

When i hold my left Alt key i can no longer jump or move my mouse. Moving the mouse makes my character slowly move around. It just started today. I have no idea why this is happening but it is EXTREMELY annoying.

Apparently it is a leftover from the old quake engine. Don't know why it manifested itself today but i'm glad it is gone.

That command allows you to strafe with your mouse rather than your keyboard. When holding it you strafe very slowly to the left or right depending on which way you move your mouse. The only real use for it is to line up pixel perfect shots on sniper
