The fact that the games were so incredibly boring to watch probably didn't help. All games where seven played were basically "let's see what team gets bored first and makes a stupid move". That sort of reason probably doesn't stop most competitive tf2 players from watching it, but for people that are just "checking out" the stream it might be different.

Se7en in the grand finals were pityful to be honest. At the very end Starkie had just pistoled down nursey making her drop and THEY FUCKING WAITED 5 years before pushing again and nursey bum fucked them with another uber.......I mean i get play it safe but come on

a lot of people might think that valve's comp is what everyone's playing in tournaments and leagues.
i wouldnt be interested in watching if i thought it was like that
