I demand a lower round time limit
We need to go back to vanilla with boston basher, gunboats, escape plan, pain train, overdose, kritskrieg, and ubersaw (maybe xbow, winger, and iron bomber).
We also need to purge the map pool of the 2 main maps notorious for stalemates - Gullywash and Granary.
We replace them with Bagel and GPit/Coalplant/Ashville and we have made the game less aids and quicker.

Wouldn't that make it worse as you can easily stalemate for that lower time and send it back to mid?

I still blame EVL for the badlands game.
Other than that I found se7en to be mostly entertaining. The amount of talent in that line up and big plays they made was huge.

I posted a reply to your opinions in another thread, maybe it was missed. Curious, does any of that thought process maybe change your opinion of EVL and that particular stalemate?

I did miss it. I see where you're coming from with se7ens lack of posturing, but regardless they were never in a position to push since the pick advantage wasn't enough and any movement to a push would be read by corsa, not a great situation to push from. Not to mention moving up and pressuring choke could potentially open you up to the spy pick. I still feel the issue was that corsa did nothing in spy for as long as he did was what caused the stalemate. I just never see a reason for se7en to push in that situation.

I would agree but 7 never knew corsa was on spy so this line of thinking doesn't fit.
If 7 knew corsa was on spy they would have immediately pushed mid after the purpleshirt bombs because 6v4 fight with even uber exchange. That is a no brainer. Problem was that 7 didn't know anything going on at the mid point because they stuck to simply defending.

They knew corsa was on spy. It wouldn't have been 6v4: they take an uber trade close in choke, if 7 do get the better end which is unlikely they have to commit into a respawning roamer and watch the spy behind. All while any flank play is shut down by the spy watching for it and they don't have the best uber trades to begin with. It's not as easy as 7 or evl should have pushed, tho I do think corsa could have made a player earlier without consequence. This is just something that happens in TF2.
Listen, I won 5 rounds so I'm clearly prepared to give my input.
But in all actuality, if se7en did know corsa was on spy (very likely because the announcers were very audible on stage) there is no reason to not take the 6v4 uber. Taking an exchange and then working a number advantage is some super basic tf2 and wouldn't be too complicated by a flanking spy. Thalash and Raymon doing regular 180s during the post fight is reasonable.
Also, at the VERY least se7en could have sent a counter sac. Running stark back to spawn to go spy is just committing to the absolute slowest play style possible. Especially after seeing stark's gameplay in action, I'm shocked they never tried him just running in through valley and under mid to fight a 1v1 or 1v2. He wins those consistently enough that losing a player to get even numbers isn't a big deal, and him trading just makes it easier to push into mid.

If memory serves me correctly they counter sacked drackk at least twice

I had confirmation from multiple members of se7en they knew there was a spy. They were very aware of a potential spy play when the game was delayed and had heard ma3la say spy (I realized on gully they could hear me when I said spy and 3 people turned around) which is why I started alluding to offclasses, unfortunately we did slip and let that one out.

i think seven just need to just push more and not wait around you would be surprised how many fights you guys could have won if you just pushed instead of waiting on uber
