Sounds cut off on DM servers?

Does anyone know of a fix for this? I've tried increasing my snd_mixahead value idk what else it could be but it gives me a headahce tbh

I think its actually on the server end?
s_volume 0 might help alleviate your headache although obv that not preferable

I have the same problem. Not only does it cut off but it also echoes from side to side for me. I would honestly rather have someone shove a giant banana (with a very pointy, scratchy end) in both of my ears than have to deal to that again.

My sound is fine in the rest of the game and in the Digital Aim DM server so I feel like it is a server-side issue.

see if they are running smacs antiwallhacks plugin
that has caused sound cutoff issues in the past

do this by typing 'sm plugins list' in console while in the server

happens to me as well and doesn't satisfy my ears one bit
