So I put my blood, sweat, and neck beard into this jump map over the course of 3 years. Wanted to share it, because I enjoy it very much and I think a lot of other people will too. Since I don't play too much I'm leaving it, essentially, as my legacy even though I've been a wash up for a while.

The neat thing about this map, is that all jumps are derived directly from an orange variant map I used to play, and that same map can be played in the freeplay section of the map.

It has 3 difficulties for every jump, and 20 jumps per difficulty.

Is that the no-heros orange map? If its not them I used to play whatever community had that map all the time back in the day.

The map was cp_orange_nsr_x_tower_beta2 from the No Skill Required clan. And if you played there, then we probably crossed paths a few times before :)

nsr, thats why i was thinking no heros. I 100% believe that we would have crossed paths at some point on there, I know many people did play on those orange servers. Also song list?

This was the map I had my first seizure playing...

It was particularly fun, the colors, white cubes flashing by on the sides a lot.

the last jump actually made me want to die
other than that pretty fun map, regen/extra buffs/health could be improved
one other thing is certain jumps were unclear what you were supposed to do
so for example on H19 (iirc might have been another one) i kept trying to wallshot to pogo and then after grinding it without success for like 10 mins i realized you're supposed to sync/catch it
some maps make it super explicit with floating text next to the part you need to speedshot or sync or whatever but u do u

I think I've got a fix put in for it, and any other place that you'll have to sync. I'll have to test it out to see if it actually works.

Yeah. Making the jumps clear has been an obstacle for me, definitely. The first iteration of this map was about 100 times more confusing, which is why I wasn't going to release the map without a video. Do you think if I had floating decals for skips and syncs that people would be able to figure it out? Also what gripes do you have about regen/extra buffs/health? I've been out of the mapping game for a while, but I did try to stay on top of that stuff.

Just for the triple sync if you have 200hp you can pull a cbear and kill yourself, hence why tempus and other servers buff you to 500 or 750hp by default. I think it couldn't hurt having the decals or whatever. I imagine you could put it on jumptf or wherever jumper mains go to get more specific feedback. Maybe benroads will hop in and show you what's up...

Yeah unfortunately those are server mods/plugins. I think as far as mapping goes, I can only give you up to full default health. I put some trigger_hurtme for -3000 damage, but I'm not sure it really does much. That's what I've got on h19 on this version of the map. I might try to summon benroads though. Thanks!

You can give buffs with the map. Look around on jump.tf for how to do that.
But its not necessary on this map.

About regen, there were a few jumps where I ran out of rockets. As I said on the jump forum. Will get back on it tomorrow.

I literally just found it. Came back to edit my post lol. I think H19 might need them... it's a triple sync. But just to be safe, I'm adding buffs on sync jumps for version b2.

I had a good time playing this map. As a former Orange player myself these jumps were very much at home for me.

My only complaint would be that some jumps were unclear about what you were supposed to do.
