Hello everyone
With s26 just finishing, I no longer have a team for the time being and would like something to do apart from schoolwork now and then. So would like to mentor a team that will be playing s27
A player helped me and my team out last season for a couple weeks, and we all found it really beneficial although it didn't come to improving our result on officials. I'd like to do the same for another team but over a longer period of time and focus on things during the offseason.
Oh and for anyone that doesn't know me or know of me here's my etf2l http://etf2l.org/forum/user/109753/
Here's the checklist so to speak of who I'm wanting to mentor as a team:
1) should be obvious, to use a cleche, keen to improve as individuals and as a team
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BIG POINTS
2) A mid team, or an open that feel they have potential
3) a FULL team that has experience of at least 1 season at this level, 5 players is ok as well if youre in the process of looking for someone
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
4) a team that has the intention of playing in the offseason at least twice a week
5) a team that can dedicate an evening/time during the day on the weekends (at least 3 people every week)
6) a team that's problem isn't bad DM
I'll explain again, sometimes a team can be intelligent but have bad DM, don't think that I can help a team who are just mechanically bad
7) a team that are open to criticism, I don't want to argue with you getting nowhere
People may doubt me for putting this post up, but this is just in case anyone would like help from me :)
Inside the team, I would also like to focus on helping to improve the medic as well as the two scouts as players individually, since I have experience here. For soldiers and demos I can't really assist them that well.
But yeah there's a lot of typing there, but if you feel like your team would like some assistance and meet the majority of the checklist then do post your team below and I'll add your leader on steam in a couple of days.
ADDITIONALLY if there are any people that would like to improve alone as a player that I know and like then feel free to message me on steam and I can do that too
Cheers

No offence but I don't think you're experienced enough to be mentoring teams. You've just played your first season of high in the which you came bottom half and didn't even play all the officials. Your team also was scrimming at least one top mid team and were quite evenly matched so I don't really know how you could mentor a team of that level if you aren't far beyond that level yourself.

I'm simply offering help to any team that feel like they need it... As in a bottom mid team that are struggling with simple things. I know a tonne of people who do this for lower teams of my level which benefit from this.
I see your point, but I don't feel like there is anything wrong with that considering whenever I've merced for a teams they have felt that advice I have given is useful and would want more...
Plus, the skill of a team doesn't always equivalate to individual performance too or game knowledge.
To quote what I have put:
'People may doubt me for putting this post up, but this is just in case anyone would like help from me :)'
In other words, if you don't understand that, I feel I can offer help in a constructive way and this would be good for me and others. Evidently you don't think so, so good for you

I'm sure you'd be able to give helpful info to teams of this skill level. The way I see it anyone is able to give some useful input to any team since a new perspective always helps.
Add this guy :D

My mentor when I was in open was barely in mid. While I do understand what Crayon is saying I think Krakens legit and would be a good mentor. glgl
