i ordered a G403 from amazon and they sent me a G502 wtf
Anyone using Cooler Master SWIFT-RX here? I've had my eye on it for a couple of days, didnt find alot of threads on it in overclock.net
any issues i should be worried about? Currently using qck heavy, does the job close to perfect for me but i'm gettin bored of it.

I have it. The L version. I've had qck and hyperx fury pro l before and swift rx is faster than qck

altho my question depends on what surface you put your pad on, i have to ask, does it stick to your desk alright? i had a goliathus that pretty much moved with my mice!

it sticks with no problem on my wooden desk, even after washing it.

qck mass/heavy are steelseries' thick padded mousepads, they aren't like the qck and qck+

I've been using an fk and a fk1 for more than a year and had a problem with neiter. Zowie always have amazing build quality.

What's wrong with your DA?
Also a list of the minor grievances I have with Zowie Mice
-Click latency that's 4-10ms worse than competitors
-asymmetrical tracking latency (compared to other mice that is)
-Coating of the mice in past was awful, now a minor grievance.
-Internal parts while are considered good they're typically far enough below excellent to irritate me (kinda like a half-sneeze were you still need to sneeze but can't anymore)
-Scroll wheel is meh (16-step, a significant quantity don't report every step anyway)
-mouse feet wear rather quickly
Things Zowie does well
-Shape/Weight along with the various size options
-Assuming you get one without major scroll wheel issues, and get one without omron switches the overall build design is good.

Comanglia-Coating of the mice in past was awful, now a minor grievance.
Is the complaint here that it wore out quickly or that it was a rubbery coating? Because personally, I prefer the rubbery coating (That no mice use anymore). It definitely wore out quick as hell on the thumb area though.

Idk about exactly what kind of feel you're going for
4+mm thickness cloth mousepads I know
Kingston HyperX Fury 4mm (have one at work seems pretty nice, edges are a bit sharp though)
X-Trac Fat Mat 6.2mm (I personally don't like this companies cloth pads)
Glorious XL Heavy ~6mm (never used/seen one so ymmv)
Razer Firefly Cloth Edition ~4.5mm (quite expensive due to the whole led edging)
Puretrak Talent ~6.3mm (never had one has a large fan base for awhile in pro scenes probably worth looking at)
Zowie G-SR+-SE (HLTV Special Edition) 5mm (never used/seen one so ymmv)
Cooler Master Speed-RX 5mm (never used/seen one so ymmv)
Cooler Master Control-RX 5mm (never used/seen one so ymmv)
Cougar Control Mousepad Series are all 4mm (never used/seen one so ymmv)

Both tbh. The feel of Zowie mice if your hands get sweaty is awful, and then they also wear out quickly giving a very weird feel to the edges of the wearing.

Gotcha. I've got the exact opposite issue in that my hands are constantly dry so the rubbery coating is my best option.

So my deathadder (chroma) has seen better days in many ways and I'm unsure if I should try and stick it out with it until the true end of its life or if I should get a zowie ec1-a or HyperX pulsefire FPS and start using that as my main mouse.
- My mouse3 click seems to never register, and this has been the case for about a year now. I used to have my reload key for overwatch and CSGO on mouse3 (yes I know that I'm weird for putting it there but that felt right to me) and I eventually had to put it on one of my side mouse buttons
- Many spots on the mouse have worn down from extended use and the oils from my hand, but my side grips seem to have not a lot of actual grip, seemingly from general wear and extended use. The one on the right side of the mouse also seems to be coming loose from the shell, and if I run my fingers from the middle of it to the back with a bit of pressure, the grip can start to slide off at the back
- I'm unsure if my hands have just gotten larger or if the shape of the deathadder is no longer a good mouse shape for my hand but I have had a few instances where I have felt a slight bit of wrist strain after lots of use. It hasn't been frequent, but maybe once every 4-5 months I've experienced this pain. It's not unbearable, but if getting a larger mouse will help solve this problem for me I'll happily change what I'm using as my day to day mouse.
I've tried the g403 before and oddly enough it felt a bit too small for my liking, so that ruled it out of my future potential mice. Also, the ec1-a that I got a while back had left and right clicks that were far too stiff for my liking and the side buttons felt just awful and cheap. However, I've since heard that they've updated these versions, fixing the too tight left and right buttons and making the side buttons not feel as flimsy and cheap. I loved the shape of it so much more than my deathadder and would love to use it again, but I'm unsure if getting a larger mouse like the HyperX pulsefire (for reasons mentioned above) will help me avoid occasional wrist strain, I'll be more than willing to give up getting an ec1-a for it.
Any help/suggestions would be much appreciated if anyone has experience playing with both the pulsefire and ec1-a

Any reason you won't get another death adder? Also most middle click issues with Razer Death Adders can be resolved by disassembling the mouse fully depressing the middle click button (with the tip of a knife, paperclip, etc) and cleaning the area around the button.

I mean if you really want a mouse that feels big you could try the mionix naos 7000.
Your wrist strains could be due to you using your wrist to much, over your arm whilst gaming, as well as using a sensitivity that's to high. Here's an interesting article on it: http://www.criticalhit.net/gaming/dr-levi-harrison-talks-mouse-sensitivity-gaming-rsi/

I reread your post I had missed that you were having wrist strain issues. Curious about how you hold/move your mouse.
I've used Razer mice for a little over 5 years now, so for me it's more or less wanting to try something different. I also did try out an ec1-a about a year ago and loved the shape, but the buttons just felt far too stiff for my liking, so I ended up returning it. Also seeing that they've updated the model to have left and right clicks not as tight as before and side buttons that didn't feel like they were going to break after any number of button presses. That being said, if another deathadder is the best for me, I'll just get a new one
Also one of the feet near the front of the mouse is wearing off, so I guess I could just take it apart and fix the scroll wheel but I'd certainly need a new set of mouse feet to apply afterwards. I'm thinking hyperglides but I don't know if there are any better options out there that are worth buying.
The wrist strain doesn't occur that often, and it could come down to the fact that I do a decent bit of aiming with my wrist. I know that my grip is a sort of hybrid between palm and fingertip (I say this because I know that my fingers are straight and not arched like in claw, but some of my palm does make contact with the back of my mouse in some spots), but I've never really thought about it too much.

I've actually considered getting a naos 7000 before, but I tried some cheap off brand mouse that had a similar shape before and I didn't really like it. It's possible that because it was a brand that wasn't well known that I didn't enjoy the shape but I'll look into it.
As far as the sensitivity goes, I've actually changed my sensitivity about a month ago from 11.5 inches (29.21 cm)/360 down to 10.4 inches (26.416 cm)/360, so I don't really think that my sensitivity is too fast. I do use my wrist for a bit of aiming, but for large movements I move my arm for the extra distance. It doesn't happen very often, and the main reason that I brought it up was the fact that I haven't been the most satisfied with the overall ergonomics of my deathadder ever since i tried the ec1-a.
It's entirely possible that I'm either thinking about it too much or just using bad technique but the whole wrist strain thing doesn't happen that often, maybe once for a day every few months, but since I do a lot of typing for classes and for news articles I should probably do wrist stretches more often. It's entirely possible that the amount of typing that I do is also a factor in my occasional wrist strain.
