I'm sorry I didn't read op post, but you should do a demo Review with a higher skilled player, so they can tell you exactly what ur doing wrong then don't make those mistakes

blAstroI don't really know anyone personally. I'm looking for help with scout and I also don't know any high level scout streamers that do that sorta stuff.

Eh, the streamer doesn't need to be a scout main to give you scout tips. Any legit prem/invite player can easily give you positioning etc tips on any class

Not sure if you're trolling or if you legit hate reading

If you're going to make that joke, do it with someone people actually know, not me.

Also, who the fuck are you?

anderDm can carry you, brains cant

This is 100% untrue, there are plenty of players who were on top teams with acceptable or even subpar dm who were smart.

Despite this, improving mechanics is something that you can do pretty easily up to a point and its also something you will have over a lot of other people if you play medic (people will love you and want to pick you up on teams if you can hit arrows and good surfs).

Its really not hard to progress on any class if you focus on the basics and invest the time.
Stop using the word "positioning" because it doesn't mean anything without context. It is difficult to specifically help you because none of us know how you are dying or what the in-game situations are.

Bear basically said the most important things as he kept talking about "team". Communication is key as is teamwork. Kill things together and not alone. Talk to your team and help each other. This is probably the most important thing you can learn in TF2.

Ultimately mechanics are a majority of this game, make sure you do not skip the 'boring bit' (Dming/mge) to get to the 'fun' (more instantly gratifying part of the game like making up strats/team play) part. Of course this doesn't mean you should ignore strats/teamplay.

dm can only carry you so far, if you're smart and have a good understanding of the game you can just grind out your aim and you will go a lot further
like yeah I'd you have crazy good aim/dm on scout you can probably make it to high im or invite based on that alone but then you get to the point where everyone has a pretty good baseline dm and once you can't simply out dm your opponents you will be stuck (unless you're clockwork and can always just run in and win 1v1s)

The funny thing is, i think he was also one of the smartest scouts in the game.. he just played a style that at its core was high risk high reward, and his skill allowed him to do it against the best teams in the world.
