How do you play soldier on 20 inches?
Presumably an arm-aiming soldier, which must be unusual?
i only play scout and sniper and yes i aim with my arm
So you never play soldier or demo? Can you rocket jump?
Yeah, from my experience I think anything above 12 or so inches has to be arm aim.
As someone who's used a sensitivity this large it's definitely possible to rocket jump with it if you have a mouse with a high max tracking speed and large mouse pad or mouse acceleration is used.

What's the deal with max tracking speed? I don't really know what you mean by that.
I assume you arm aimed? On soldier, that must be rare.

How fast your mouse sensor can go before it starts malfunctioning (as in starts having negative accel). Often called the malfunction speed. Can also be used to refer to max acceleration, since they both cause malfunctions.
For example, the Pixart 3360/61/66 sensor has 250ips (inches per second) and 50g (g-force acceleration) as its max tracking speed. Anything past that and it will malfunction.
Some other popular sensors are:
Pixart 3310: 130ips/30g
Avago ADNS 3090: 60ips/20g
MLT04 overclocked: 60ips (I can't find its max accel)

question: im comfotable with this sens on all classes except soldier bc it is really hard to (air) strafe back and forth on a 12 inch mousepad.
should i buy a larger mouse pad and invest in learning with the sens i play with above or should i just use a faster sens?

i can somewhat rocketjump and do easy jumpmaps and i never play other classes than scout or sniper unless i have too but since im banned on etf2l now i lowered my sens even more for csgo
