I found this helpful guide from Reddit about staying healthy while playing video games. I feel like this could be very helpful for a lot of people here *cough* b4nny *cough*, and I highly suggest reading all of it if you haven't already.
Don't end up like kaido; be your (physically and mentally) best, it will be worth it, even if you lose out on a few minutes of sweat pugs.
Feel free to add your own tips. I'll be doing useful things with my life, which doesn't include yelling at pugchamp medics.

One of the best points for me is taking a few minutes in between maps/rounds/halftime to remove yourself from the computer. Esp if your region has a 2-map match it's really worth to take a minute or two to refill water, walk around your house, maybe get a couple of breaths of fresh air: it helps reset your mind and refocus. It is a MASSIVE help for me when tilting/anxious after a poor map.

There is no road map to being healthy as a gamer or any other type of activity. I have been gaming for over 20 years and have had no body injuries or limitations but I see 16 year old kids develop carpal tunnel from heavy mouse usage. Some things happen that you have no control over and cannot stop.
The best thing you can do is try to stay as healthy as possible with the choices you have control over.
You have control over exercise and diet. I would say if you take good care of both, your chance of body failure is much less.
I am big on stretching several times per day. Arm, wrist and legs pretty often and always in the morning when I first wake up. I used to be really fit but I have gotten fat from a bad diet and lack of sticking to an exercise plan.
