i cant maintain a stable 144hz (I avg around 99fps ish according to some benchmarks), is it worth it to get a 144hz monitor if i cant stay at 144fps? will it look worse?

do what I'm doing and get a computer that can run at least 200+ constant and then when you have the money get a 144hz or just get it right away
