I downgraded...erm...upgraded to windows 10 and now my start menu isn't working -_- any help would be appreciated

my pc asked me to upgrade 3 days ago so I clicked upgrade. It was working fine at the beginning.

Then most likely there are still left over files from your previous OS, follow this guide https://docs.google.com/document/d/1pINtjiMb9p2QF6hez8FA56o2M6DO8kqBjIlX_eT57sg/edit?usp=sharing
Make sure you back up the files you want like your custom folder, pictures, etc
