Hey guys, its been awhile since I've done an upgrade and some of the newer games (Dead By Daylight, Friday the 13th, The Forest) don't run quite so well for me unless I potato my graphics.
MOBO: MSI Z87-G43
CPU: Intel i5-4570 3.20GHZ
GPU: GTX 550 Ti
Ram: 8GB
I'm thinking the GPU but just wanted to double check.
Thanks!

definitely GPU is stand out one, can also get an i7 and upgrade ur ram to 16gb but i'd say a new GPU will give you the most for your money

I'm also for the GPU. When I've upgraded mine, TF2 performance increased significantly

sopsover clock your cpu, upgrade gpu
Non-K i5-4570 CPU can't be overclocked, only turbo'd to 3.6GHz

graphic card, wont affect your tf2/csgo experience really but will be noticeable in other games
also i5-4570 shouldn't bottleneck any mid-high end graphic card
if you state your budget people here will give an advice on which card you should get

it can be done via BCLK, but you're looking at an extra few hundred MHz. it is going to mess with motherboard timings, thus it's not advised. i5's are still good nowadays, you're good with yours.

I've spent a lot of time with unoverclocked i5 3570K because my motherboard didn't support any overclocking, so if OP is gonna get an upgrade he also must make sure that his new motherboard will support overclocking for new CPU.

Well, Best Buy had a GTX 1050 Ti for $170 so I picked that up while I was out.
Thanks for the input!
