In the latest roster news in North America, LunatiK eSports have chosen to acquire and welcome ESEA Invite team Whale eSports into their organization.
The Whale eSports roster made their Invite debut in ESEA Season 25, with Invite players bo4r, sigh (formrerly known as sighguy) and Moy headlining the team. They're also joined by a trio of Invite newcomers, which includes Tino_, Kev, and Speedy. The team is currently sitting in 8th place in the regular season.
LunatiK currently have sponsored teams in CS:GO and Rainbow Six: Siege, and they're the third team to sponsor a new Invite roster this season, with the other two teams being Faint Gaming, who acquired mario party 4, and Fable eSports, who recently signed High Altitude Dreamworld.
Moy spoke to teamfortress.tv about the team's new sponsorship:
My team feels like it is a great opportunity for both TF2 and ourselves. Everyone on our team is happy to compete under LunatiK Gaming, and [we] hope to do well this season. More so, at this time we also feel that it will definitely help stimulate growth in the competitive scene that we all love. Even though it will be a challenging season, getting this new sponsorship is giving our team the motivation to put our best in, despite the rocky start to our season. Since we're going all out, any support for both our team and the sponsors would be greatly appreciated!
As of now, the roster for LunatiK eSports consists of:
- Scout: bo4r
- Scout: Kev
- Roamer: Speedy
- Pocket: sigh
- Demoman: Moy
- Medic: Tino_
