Hey guys!
I'm part of a small group called LFT and we're working on a project that needs scout frag clips. You'll be credited on screen for any clip used, just please include your username in the file title exactly as you'd like it shown. Only clips from pugs, scrims, and matches please.
We'll need about 2 mins worth total, possibly more, from as many different players as we can get. We hope to have this project done in 2 weeks.
Thanks!

so we're making frag clips and you're compiling them into one video?
I may be off the mark here because I don't make videos but isn't like 80% of the frag video process doing what you want with the .dem?

It's not primarily a frag video, more a video about tf2 that needs clips as a filler. I wanted to take this opportunity to give any willing community members some spotlight. :)

I think it would be better to have people send you the demo file instead of going through the whole process of converting it into a movie file, especially because they would have to compress the file before uploading it and that takes away from some of the quality unless you know a good work around for it.

Hmmm, okay, we're down if it's better and easier for the rest of the community. :) We just don't have any experience or knowledge about recording through demos but we'll figure it out. Updating first post. :)

No worries, man. I've got you covered - http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/3521-how-to-make-videos-for-tf2
STEP TWO and STEP THREE have the information you're looking for.
Instead of using Lawena, you can also use Demo Buddy by Redban as well. Here is a link for it - http://teamfortress.tv/forum/thread/4675-demo-buddy-a-tool-for-launching-demos-recording
It works practically the same way as Lawena, just with a few extra features. Lawena does have a custom skybox feature, but that isn't necessary really.

pov or stv? I might have 1...
Viaduct match POV... ticks 88000-91500, I don't mind if you cut it short as the frags are over some period of time.
