No animosity or hate toward the Fable team, and none towards Shade's accomplishment either, but Invite is a joke and has been for several seasons
Shade's fifth perfect game according to http://tf2db.github.io/tf2database/records.html

Another one for his records, but it's a 5-0 roll that took 10 minutes. To be fair that's where the majority of perfect games happen, so this one by ninjanick will always be more impressive (in my mind) since it was 30 minutes long.
Wasn't there a guy that had a perfect game as friendly sandvich Heavy on Viaduct?

Froyotech has won 1st place for eight of the past nine seasons. That's just not interesting to me.
Since Season 18 in 2015, the last LAN, there has been one or maybe two seasons where it really felt like we had 4 top teams (or more) in Invite that could all potentially win 1st. In the recent seasons, we've had b4nny versus the other good team or both other good teams, while the rest of the teams in the division just kinda play their own side league. It's unfortunate, and I can 100% understand the hesitation from top IM teams to want to move up. Why would you, when the rest of Invite is just "play well, and hopefully get picked up by b4nny someday" now.
That's my opinion as a spectator, which has nothing to do with whether I can play at a high level or not (which I absolutely can't.)

i don't know about you, but i consider a season where froyo not only loses in the regular season, but is also seeded below a team halfway through the season a pretty competitive season

Skill disparity in invite is sadly a reality of the state of the game, but it really could be way worse. I think froyotech winning basically everything can be more explained by how to an extent relatively small differences in skill level result in big differences in outcome (like in quake). There's always been an evl/exertus/mixup that rivaled froyo in skill level.
Also, I definitely think there's something to appreciate about a team dominating by playing really fucking good tf2. Watching i52 froyo was fucking magical.

Rather credit the fact b4nny is able to keep having the drive to win and rebuild winning sides than Invite being a joke.

Shade has done this before https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SkH7ktZkmL4&t=995s
at the end of the match shade said he ran fulltime kritz, which would make this 50x more impressive, but i can't remember if that's actually true or not

It's pretty true
this is the closest season of invite there has been in forever, this was the best team vs the worst team but before hibbleton died there were potentially 6 teams who could make playoffs and froyo is more beatable now than they have been in a while
