Check out the Ikea Linnmon table. They have various legs that work with it. The total might be a little higher than your budget depending on which legs you get, but it's decent quality and a large desk. I got the legs that are height adjustable because I'm tall and it's helped a lot with posture/back issues.

if you buy from ikea just know that the tabletops are made out of particle board (it's not actually wood).
I would personally go the goodwill route with $60, it's a much better deal and you can get actual glass or hardwood for cheap.

Yup second for thrift store, relatives' card tables, and/or used furniture store.
The upshot to all these options is you'll also get to measure the desk (bring a tape measure) and make sure it's the right height and size for what you want - desk height I've found is something that can really fuck with your arms and shoulders if your chosen chair can't reach high enough or can't go low enough depending on desk height. If you also have a chair with arms on it, and you like to rest your arms on the arms of the chair, make sure the arms are roughly as high as the desk/table is or that they can be made as such or you'll be without them.
