lolmikesIf they pick up any video game it's going to be Counter Strike or Quake. Has to be nothing else is worthy of getting in
LoL, DOTA
no reference to terrorism in those games probably get a better reception

what will you do now with this precious information?
clckwrk a bit lacking competitively
I made this thread a while ago, and based off of the comments, eSports as a whole doesn't seem to have much of a chance, let alone TF2. If the unforeseen happens,
DrummerIf anything really happens it won't be tf2

I would hope for, at the very least, an Olympic mod where players play in that familiar unblemished blue indoor environment with wooden or canvas flooring as appropriate, wearing team coloured leotards (both IRL and in game).
If someone makes cp_blue with the 5 rings logo TF2 might still have a chance.
clckwrki'm not sure too sure about tf2 (it's pretty old and a bit lacking competitively), but i think overwatch should be included and it'd shock me if it didn't cross their minds

To answer the OP - No.
I don't see why eSports in general can't hold their own Gaming Olympics.
Or even TF2 leagues like ETF2L could host a TF2 Olympics where various competitive versions of TF2 can be played from 6's to HL to MGE, to Bball to Rocket Jumping contests to interpretative TF2 dance to 12v12 on different maps to the big one of course - Saxton Hale.
guys let's not fuck up this chance like we did with razer arena!!

Using a game that requires close to no mechanical skill wouldn't be the best move to show that esports do indeed take skill.
