Sometimes I watch euro solly fragvids and just cant fathom how the person getting fragged even ended up in that situation. Like if i had a dollar for every opportunity i had to hit a nuts endif airshot in a scrim id have like $4

i agree with mason and nursey but another factor is that for some reason in na most invite players don't tend to frag clips/videos whereas loads of prem players regularly make frag vids (and some will include nearly every airshot/cool frag they hit in pugs and shit which makes it look like they happen disproportionately often)

ok the frag vid part is true, however even in prem matches that are casted on tftv i still see snipers hitting ridiculous headshots, especially on gully last where they peak last and just headshot drop the med through the pipes when jumping onto launch pad, or jumping onto that stand thing in river and dropping the med. I dont see it happening in NA invite. its actually insane how often that shit happens with prem snipers in euro land

honestly, I think it all ties back to the euros utilizing sniper more effectively than na.

i don't really see na teams trying to work their snipers into an advantageous position e.g. taking control of lobby so your sniper has a good sightline when pushing process last
another example is when you're pushing last with a sniper ex. on snakewater some teams push right side although if you push left you give your sniper a lot more space

can confirm NA team have never taken lobby with a sniper!! facking nabs!!

This is also partly because EU has a cheat feed for camera that tells you 20 seconds before anyone hits an airshot or gets a kill and NA doesn't.

A lot of time sitting on a sniper's cam is dead time but he has the ability to get a few quick kills without TOO MUCH changing in a fight. So in NA if you leave the cam on a sniper there's a chance he doesn't even do anything but in EU if you see in the feed the sniper gets 3 kills you just go to his cam, otherwise you don't even need to touch it (unless it's a stalemate and you're just swapping between players)

we speak 50 different languages around europe so we never talk to one another and so it just makes more sense to spend all day in mge/dm

I honestly don't know but one very interesting theory one of my old friends had is that euros have more trouble with english in general which messes with cohesion or communication or something so they are more likely to hone their dm to beat other teams in contrast to na where english is more widely spoken

I don't think NA runs into as many situations as EU where they really need a sniper. When I watch EU I see a lot more of uber stalemates on last than NA and it can go on for a long time.

idk about the soldier airshot thing but I think that (maybe I'm wrong, this is totally anecdotal and only based off my own experience watching tf2) currently at least there are more euros who offclass sniper for a prolonged period of time. If you're playing it more and longer, you're going to have way more opportunities to get crazy vac headshots.

just sayin, the standard of scouts in EU is nuts, thaigrr, funs, mr epic, sorex, zen, maroš, starkie, thalash etc
