Input lag while streaming?

I feel like i have puding controls (almost like vsync) while streaming and occasional stuttering even though my FPS is never dropping below 144.
Could someone help me with my OBS settings?

My specs are
R7 1700 @ 4ghz
16gb DDR4 @ 2933
GTX 970

using x264? try a lower preset, or using gpu encoding (nvenc) though i would have thought the 1700 would be able to stream easily

If ur running the game in windowed borderless switching to fullscreen can do a lot for this problem.

assign obs to different cores then tf2

Was able to fix it. The stuttering was apparently Windows installing updates in the background and i was able to fix the latency by selecting the low latency option hidden under advanced encoder settings.
