Once again unable to field our full ESEA roster at this event, we’ve instead brought together talents from North America’s top ESEA-Invite teams froyotech, Ascent, SVIFT and Velocity to round out the Sweden LAN roster. With everyone playing their best roles, and committed to winning, it turns out the “super team” hype might be true after all. [url=https://twitter.com/4G_b4nny/status/910950242635309056]Astute eyes[/url] will notice that the team is built around a core from the current S26 ESEA roster (b4nny, habib, arekk) as well as a 2 ex-froyo members (paddie, garbuglio), so there is plenty of developed chemistry already in place. All that being considered, we felt that donning the froyotech name would be appropriate despite it being a one-off roster. Still, we have all intentions of living up to the name and going for the gold at SweLAN. But whatever happens, we are just excited to bring an international presence to yet another TF2 LAN. We hope it’s not the last!

[b]Fundraising[/b]
We are looking to raise $1000 for to help cover the team’s expenses for this LAN. We’ve managed to cut costs as much as possible, bringing the team’s total expenses to about $4000. We are also exploring some sponsorship options.

$600 - Roadtrippin’: IRL streams during our roadtrips from Stockholm to Lidkoping
$800 - Short and Sweet: Paddie will conduct a series of video interviews at LAN
$1000 - Immortalized: We will create a team event frag video, including shoutouts to all supporters

I will update this thread regularly with progress towards the milestones. We will be fundraising until Friday November 3rd when the LAN begins (merch will remain available forever). We are 100% committed to going to LAN, so our presence is guaranteed regardless of the success of the fundraiser.
