Tonight the currently second seed Ascent will take on the currently fourth seed Velocity eSports on badlands in a match that could be replayed during the postseason playoffs. Earlier in the season, Velocity shocked everyone by handing Ascent a 5-1 loss on Metalworks, showing that no team was going to have an easy path to the postseason. Since their last encounter, Ascent has acquired showstopper and have only suffered losses from their encounters against froyotech. Will Velocity pull off another massive upset against Ascent tonight, or will Ascent assert their dominance as one of the titans of ESEA invite and show that their early season loss was just a fluke? Marxist and Sandblast will be casting the match while Gabe will be handling production on TFTV1. See you there!
