having the option to delete your account is practically universal when you make an account on anything
i feel like that the users should have more options so enigma doesn't have to tend to our issues
from what i've seen in the request board, the people who requested a name change did not get what they wanted

deleting your account is a universal feature to all forums?

as far as name changes go, i'm not ever going to allow people to change their names whenever they want

the ability for the thread creator to delete threads would be nice (it's been a while since i last made a thread so maybe this has already been implemented, if so great).

Perhaps a real name/alias thing on profiles would be useful? I know gotfrag had one on your profile, and it would be useful for some people (e.g. me since I've changed my alias quite a bit)

If they change it to something stupid they're stuck with it, if they want to change it so that their forum alias matches their actual one, then no harm done.

I agree with Dio, 1 name change should be plenty. 2 would give room for douchebags to alias. I don't know why you'd want to delete a thread or your account really, just make a new one?

thread creators being able to delete their own threads is a really bad idea

snipping out your own post is a good enough way to delete it already, making it so you can outright delete a post will mess with how people use the forums and only create confusion without solving any real problems
