depends
are you currently bad? if you are, then you have nothing to fear.

the less i play the better i get but sadly i cant stop playing this game
the more i play the worse i get. back during the semester when i was only pugging once a week i was pulling 300dpm but now that im on break and playing more i can barely reach 250.
After I moved away from my computer and only can access it while I'm on vacation, I must say that I have observed a noticeable, yet small downgrade in my dm, however my game sense is largely unchanged. Consider however that I usually go 6 months at a time without playing TF2. I doubt you'll lose that much in 5 weeks.
i regularly dont play for like a month or so and it normally takes me about an hour or two to get back into it, but if i play the next day it will be square 1 again for a while and if i go back to playing consistently then its like how it used to be
Not if you play the game consistently for the next 5 weeks afterwards.
When i don't play for weeks, the harder is to live again with 144 hertz, it hurt my eyes for a couple of hours then it's cool, might have trouble to play your sensitivity too but if you wanted to change that's the good time
5 weeks is not much should be fine, also depends if you play any other games meanwhile
it's a videogame bro, you haven't developed much from it so u have little to lose
Depends on the type of player you are. If you're all aim, no brain, 5 weeks of not playing will heavily cripple your skill, most likely, If you're all brain, no aim, you might not see any change, or you might even perform better than you had been, since taking breaks can often help you play better
Shade stopped playing in invite for much longer than 5 weeks but he came back and is almost objectively the best medic in NA so you should be fine
based on personal experience though i'd say you will be a little rusty after 5 weeks but as long as you have functioning hands, eyes and ears its not hard to catch up

he does main medic and gamesense is a lot harder to lose than aim

if you feel tired of the game, you should probably take a break.
felt same, didn't play for 2 months, now im still bad, but fresh as water.

I sometimes feel really rusty after not playing for a few days. But that might be placebo and i get back to where I was quite fast.
