generally just surfing rockets is easier than actively trying to dodge them

Dodge 100% of the rockets shot at you in mge then post the vid. Otherwise hit airshot when they do that

it's basically counterjumping but you save a rocket

if they do it every time just delay your rocket a bit and you juggle them loads and can hit directs easier

why are you complaining at someone surfing? surfing is a KEY part of playing 6s as any class

and i think surfing in 6s is inferior to dodging because u just take too much damage from falling and eating the rocket so i dont really understand the mentality of mge mains surfing every rocket just so they can have high ground while in the air.

there is nothing quite like playing tf2 at so low of a level that you think surfing damage is a mge gimmick

if you take damage every time you surf u need to learn how to surf better

It really depends on what arena you are talking about. To be honest surfing is totally acceptable in just about any arena.

The only exceptions I can think of are ENDIF and Ammomod. Those 2 arenas are designed for pure aim and DM where surfing should not be a factor. However, If ppl chose to surf in those arenas, just find another server or surf rockets in response until they leave and you find a better MGE partner.

All the rest have same "ruleset" and are all about aiming and movement
