i don't live in mongolia
i live closer to asia rather than europe.
but still i have 130-140 ping on european server, but chinese servers are close to 200 ping and korean are 300 (as well as japanese)
is it provider problem, or im just retarded and i live closer to eu?

you have to remember your signal to europe is bouncing off the antarctic ice shelf, which is basically a giant internet mirror, and your signal to korea isn't doing that -- it actually has to go up the entire mekong delta, which is a pain in the ass because it's a very crowded river

so you tell me to freeze the whole asia.
seems to be the decision, thank you! <3

wow, thanks.
it's actually interesting, because when i played Overwatch i had 110 ping in Asia (prolly some Japanese or Korean server)
but my friend that lives in the same city had 200 ping, and provider is the same.
eu ping was the same for both of us (130-140).

Do people in Mongolia even have wifi? (Off topic)

No, wifi is actually illegal above an elevation of 1000m if there fewer cows than humans within the area.
The reason is the wifi leaks into space and attracts aliens. If they can't be tricked into thinking that cows are the dominant lifeform things might get nasty.
No, you can't just use something else in Mongolia, we've committed to the cow ruse everywhere else so the aliens would notice.
That means no wifi for Mongolians.

exactly, it's four hours from my city to lake.
but, you know, lake has some ecological problems that no one wants to solve.
