Me and my friend got into an argument. He says nobody uses it bc it blocks information on the screen. I think that the overlay is pretty unobtrusive especially if you load up a custom one.

I use mumble overlay in pugs but thats it. Although your friend might be wrong unless you’re playing HL in 4:3 res

i don't like that because it doesn't show who's in the channel unless they are speaking so if im shit talking someone whilst they're in the mumble then imma be a snake

really not that obtrusive especially if you put it by the killfeed, and disable the bounding box and icon. can also scale down the text so really not an issue lol.
