ok but for real this style of taco is so hard to eat since the shell is hard you can't wrap it up so do you like hold it horizontally to your mouth and keep taking bites its so awkward imagining it plus shit would probably keep falling off like at that point just use a fork perhaps there's an easier way idk i've put too much thought into this for 3 am

edit: but 100% tacos all the way but I think that's primarily because every burrito I've seen has been like stuffed with way too much cheese and stuff idk you can't taste anything else. tacos are usually more balanced, although i've never had an authentic burrito so perhaps they're better.

Those tortillas are not hard. There are two soft tortillas grilled to crispiness (still soft and malleable!) and they're the easiest kind of taco to eat and also the best kind of taco and also the cheapest kind of taco* unless you waste money on del taco's street tacos.

Tacos, I don't have the stomach capacity to eat an entire burrito, but also because I can have a different meat in each. Maybe I'll do some barbacoa and chorizo one day and another day I'll do lengua and carnitas. And fish tacos are the best.

Hold taco with two hands one on the open side and the other on the bottom, put one end to mouth and bite. Some will fall out, that's ok that's what the plate and second taco is for. Continue until taco is done, repeat as necessary. Either get a fork or some chips from the chip warmer and scoop up the meat. Also each taco should have two tortillas, one to soak up the juices and the other to hold the first tortilla and prevent it from leaking.

Tacos are better because there are so many more acceptable fillings. Eat a fish taco and you're having a good time, eat a fish burrito and you deserve to be beaten with a stick. Also, hard shell tacos are for degenerates. Eat a tostada, not ground beef on a corn chip.

authentic mexican tacos dont use a crunchy hard shell but instead use a soft corn tortilla and they're very good

I was always a big burrito guy, but once I got to college one of my friends I went to chipotle with changed the way I eat their for the rest of my life. Order a burrito bowl and get everything you normally would in your burrito, then ask them for a side of taco tortillas, which is free, and then make your own tacos from your burrito bowl. Lel #lifehack
