while it would be cool to watch esea finals live, i think that the clump of content would be much for anyone to enjoy. same reason why the few lans we have are nice to have spread out across the year. dont know how others might feel about this though.

It would also be weird for Rewind as an international event. If its invite finals and 7 makes it to GF then what do we do? I'd rather have online finals but still have a major style international LAN. Scheduling would be weird because if one of the ESEA seasons falls close to actual rewind so how exactly would that work out if you wanted to have 2 LAN events hosted by ESA (in such close proximity to each other)? Also although ESEA have been flexible with the TF2 community (free open) i highly doubt they'd consider ESA's finals as their own official final. Also given that ESA is in California and old ESEA LANs were in Dallas its a lot harder for most teams to fly out to the venue.
